An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Data Centre Solution Architect to join the ACT team of this technology powerhouse due to a recent large data center consolidation project. An exciting initiative to design and build next generation data center architectures for some of their largest clients. Reporting directly to the Data Centre Practise Lead in a high profile consulting delivery function, this role will require you to travel, working with key customers.

The Role:

• Solutions architecture for the consolidation, virtualisation & automation of complex data centre functions
• Delivering service solutions around company data centre technologies and integrating those technologies into clients overall data centre architecture
• Develop clear low level services methodologies for the data centre solutions
• Lead delivery efforts, mentor technical consultants, customer presentations, development of technical collateral around server & application integrated designs

The Person:

• Bachelors degree within relevant industry related discipline
• Advanced technical expertise within datacenter server/applications, network & storage architecture & datacenter infrastructure applications
• Experience within holistic data centre virtualisation, large scale server/application consolidation and migration
• Advanced consulting, business case & ROI expertise as well as communicating technical business capabilities & strategies
• Australian Defence Security Clearance required
