Our client is a reputable multinational SME with a growing presence in the Australian Defence Industry. Due to continous projects being awarded to them, they are currently in need of a Project Manager to drive and solely manage a multi-milliion dollar contract. They have strong growth vision of the successful Project Manager to continue to expand their operations. This role is based in Sydney.
Ideally you will be a Senior Systems Engineer who has been in a Project Lead/Project management position. This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer to break into a Project Manager role. You will be responsible for the full lifecyle of the Project, from the detailed Master schedule to the trials/commissioning of the roll-out.
Requirements:
- Solid experience in systems engineering experience
- Must have detailed scheduling experience
- Must have contracts or subcontracts management, liaising closely with suppliers and subcontractors
- Must be Australian citizen
- Ideally from a Naval background
