Kinetic Defence is the leading supplier of recruitment solutions to the Defence and Aerospace industries. Our client is currently looking for an experienced Technical Officer, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), who is looking for a challenging role with a Defence industry leader.

This position will is a fantastic opportunity for a former Navy technician to be formally trained in the ILS discipline (a highly sought after skill set)!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review spares recommendations.
• Review available reference documentation (drawings, handbooks, brochures) on intranet and internet.
• Liaise with vendors if necessary.
• Source validation references for spares recommendation in accordance with contract requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• MUST be an Australian citizen and be eligible to obtain a Department of Defence SECRET clearance.
• Significant experience in a Defence maintenance engineering environment.
