Kinetic Defence Services is Australia's Leading supplier of Recruitment Solutions to the Defence and Land Systems Sectors. We are currently working with our client to identify a Contracts Manager/Senior Administrator to be based in Melbourne. This is a contract position with potential for a permanent appointment.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team on a high profile Defence platform. Supporting the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts, as well as managing the Commonwealth CCP process.
The Role:
Review and preparation of new contracts and contract variation proposals, including proposals for non routine additional work
Able to liaise with DMO
Able to provide contract advice to TLS Project Managers and team
Review original documents or changes to Work Instructions and Forms
Maintain and update Contract Management Plan
Establish a Performance Management system for the program
Establish a system to manage Additional Work in accordance with the Contract
Experience Required:
- Experience in the administration and management of significant Defence Contracts, ideally Land Systems
- Legal contracts experience and detailed understanding of contract law
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
