Autonomous Asia Pac Manager for European based company that supplies Defence and Maritime sectors
The Challenge: We were contacted by a European based, high technology company looking to establish an arm of their business within the Asia Pacific region. Kinetic Recruitment was specifically approached due to our reputation to provide high calibre Business Developers within specialist engineering sectors. The company required someone with high level business development experience within the Defence, Aerospace or Transportation sector, combined with the ability to work autonomously as the only Asia Pacific representative.
The Plan: We conducted a full fact finding mission to understand the companies structure, current exposure to the region and level of expertise and skill set required. Client sought a retained assignment, which allowed us to go above and beyond the norm to establish a shortlist.
The Result: A candidate was selected and offered the position which resulted in an acceptance. In the 12 months since the candidate started with the company, they have managed to secure 2 sizeable contracts within the Defence and Rail industries.
This has brought forward their plans to expand their coverage of the Asia Pacific region.
